This is a very popular hunting area due to the fact that it is Malaria free. Thaba Nkwe is on the border between the savannah and the highveld which puts a variety of game within easy reach of the main camp.
Temperatures range from 18°C to about 32°C ( 64°F to 90°F) in summer and 9°C to 22°C (37°F to 72°F) in winter.
Most of the hunting is done on their property consisting of more than 10,000 acres, situated in the north eastern part of South Africa and only two and a half hour drive from Johannesburg International Airport (O.R. THAMBO).
